Prepreg carbon fiber tubes are constructed using multiple layups of multi-directional and/or uni-directional prepregs. NitPro Composites utilize carbon fiber prepregs along with epoxy matrix in prepreg tubes.
The carbon fiber tubes are best for applications that require high bending stiffness and low weight such as drones and UAV, automobile parts, telescopic poles, fishing rods, etc.
We provide 3k to 12k carbon fiber tubes in different finishes like cello-wrapped gloss, smooth grinded gloss, smooth grounded matte finish having twill weave, plain weave and unidirectional weave pattern. We also provide customized finishes according to client requirements.
Prepreg tubes results in maximum consistency across the thickness of tubes. The process also affords more customization in terms of fiber orientation which gives better mechanical properties e.g. compression, bending, shear, etc. Our Prepreg carbon fiber manufacturing process is primarily used for producing small to medium-diameter tubes from 6.0mm through 105mm diameter and length up to 2 meters long.
